Board Of Directors Meeting
February 10th. 2003
Call to order
Roll call
Gary Bradford, Archie Steele, Ben Willis, Bob Monsen, Brian Day, Bruce Carpenter, Craig Eller, Jim Walker, Kelly Steele, Larry Wilson,Sal Gervasi, Tony Thomasy and James Chaffee were on the conference call.
Harvey Kunkle, Jim Turner, Paul Owens andTed Nguyen were not present.
The Treasures report was read and accepted with no changes.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and accepted with no changes.
Conservation Report
Bob is to set up a meeting with the D.F.G. to find out how the major cuts in the dept. will affect license fees and the warm water fishery.

a. The State Casting Kids Finals will be held on March 8th. In Bakersfield @ the sportsmanà show.
7. Old Business
Web Page update
(1) Advertising, look into the possibility of selling spots on the web.
(2) All T. Ds. Please give all the info.pics.ect. from your tournaments to Brianà a.s.a.p
(3) T.Ds. Brian is looking for angler bios. For features in the web newspaper. If you have people in mind please put something together and send it to him.
(4) Newsletter, the template was submitted to Gary for approval. The newsletter will be new every two months.

a. Elections
Vice President- Craig Eller was nominated and voted into office.
(2 ) Treasurer- Kelly Steele was nominated and voted into office.
(3) Conservation Director- Bob Monson was nominated and voted into office.
(4) State T.D.- Archie Steele was nominated and voted into office.
(5) Youth Director- Sal Gervasi was nominated and voted into office.
Webmaster- Brian Day was nominated and voted into office.
Sponsors
(1) T.Ds. need to remove old sponsors names from the signs and add the new ones when they receive them.
(2) Keeper will be sending product to all the T.Ds. to give out at the tournaments.
(3) Cul-m-rite has given us 7 certificates for there scales and chargers. A discussion took place as to how we want to give them out. The matter was tabled for now.
(4) We have no rod sponsor as of yet.
(5) Ring sponsor, each member of the state team will receive a ring.
The State Classic will be held at the Delta on Oct 25th. & 26th.
Golden Empire is not currently holding tournaments. Paul Owen is working on building interest in that area.
2003 Western div. Championship in Montana. The motel rooms are booked and the shirts are ordered.
Weigh slips have been ordered and Archie will send some to all the T.Ds.
Incorporation, it will coast about $2000.00 to finish the job.
