Minutes of the Board of Directors
Oct. 18th. 2002
A Meeting of the Board of Directors was held as follows:
Date: 10-18-2002
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Place: Lake San Vicente
There following directors were present:
Ben Willis, Kelly Steele, Bruce Carpenter, Gary Bradford, Sal Gervasi, James Chaffey, Jim Walker, Archie Steele, Craig Eller, Tony Thomasy and Ted Nugyen
The Chairman called the meeting to order pursuant to the bylaws at 5:00 p.m.
1) The treasures report was read and accepted.
2) Gary gave an update on the law suite with Mcnees. We have settled with Charles insurance co. around him. The case is over.
3) Web Page- The new web page is up and really looks great. Brian will have things up in 48 hours or less after receiving the information. We need pictures and stories from all regions.
4) Tournament rules- All rules changes will take effect after the sate classic.
5) Permits- All permits are in hand, Lake Hodges may have to be changed do to low water.
6) Board Meetings- Location changes possible.
7) Sponsors-Osprey lures is on board thanks to Ted. Ted may have more lined up.
8) 2003 State Classic- Finals set for 10-25th &26th 2003 at the Delta.
9) Big Valley region is back for now. We will see what kind of turn out we get.
10) Regionals- Regional will be held at Knoxson Res. In 2003.
11) Elections- Regions 1,3,5 & 7 are due at the beginning of the year.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
