Humminbird® Introduces 360 Imaging™ for the New Minn Kota Ultrex™

For the first time ever, Humminbird 360 Imaging is available on the Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor

Racine, Wisconsin (4/17/2017) – 360 Imaging is a Humminbird innovation that gives anglers a 360-degree, detail-rich view of the underwater world. Previously, this bow-mount technology was only compatible with Minn Kota’s Fortrex™ and Maxxum™ trolling motors. But now, anglers can combine Humminbird 360 full-surround sonar imaging with all the advantages of Minn Kota’s Ultrex trolling motor – including power steering, Spot-Lock and i-Pilot® Link™.

According to Humminbird brand manager Ray Schaffart, “The new Humminbird 360 accessory for the Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor allows owners to locate fish, cover, structure and drop-offs in any direction – while trolling or sitting still – without spooking fish. Multiple viewing options deliver the 360-degree image results onto compatible Humminbird fishfinders. It’s the best-of-the-best in boat control and imaging paired into one fluent system.”

360 Imaging Offers Feature-Rich Technology
Humminbird’s 360 Imaging is indispensable to anglers for locating fish and key structure, making it ideal for tournament fishermen, professional guides and recreational anglers alike. 360 Imaging allows users to pre-set views, mark waypoints in any direction, optimize range rings and bearing marks to fit their preferred distance from the boat, select multiple sweep modes, customize split-screen views, colors, and much more.

Easy Bow Mount Installation
The Humminbird 360 includes the advanced 360-degree transducer, a GPS receiver with heading sensor, an 8-foot power cable and 20-feet of Ethernet cable. It also comes with a 3-foot power cable adapter for quick disconnect. The anodized aluminum mounting bracket makes on/off installation easy on the Minn Kota Ultrex shaft. The assembly measures 39 inches and weighs just seven pounds.

Compatible with Multiple Humminbird Sonar Units
360 Imaging is designed to work seamlessly with Humminbird’s new SOLIX™ Series and select units in the HELIX™ Series, ONIX™ Series and additional models in the 800, 900 and 1100 Series.

The new Humminbird Ultrex 360 accessory is designed specifically for the Minn Kota Ultrex and is currently available.

For consumers who already have a Humminbird 360 on their Fortrex or Maxxum trolling motor, and have since purchased an Ultrex, an adapter bracket will be available for purchase in early summer. The adapter bracket will allow consumers to move the Humminbird 360 to their new Ultrex trolling motor.
